Philip Clark AM

Phil was a Managing Partner of Minter Ellison from 1995 to 2005, including five years as National Managing Partner and CEO.  He oversaw the firm's expansion from seven to sixteen offices (eight local and eight international).

Phil’s previous roles also included Director and Head of Corporate at global banking group, ABN Amro Australia, and National Managing Partner of law firm Stephen Jacques (now Mallesons Stephen Jacques). At Stephen Jacques, he led the firm's growth from 13 to 120 partners, across 14 offices.

In addition to his M+K duties, Phil is a member of the JP Morgan Advisory Council. He also serves on a number of corporate and advisory boards.

In 2007, he was appointed as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia, for his role in developing national law firms and encouraging corporate involvement in community programs.
